Welcome to our home page! "The Small School with a Big Heart" Convent Glen officially opened February 12, 1976. Our attendance area incorporates the areas east of Jeanne d'Arc south, east of Boyer, west of Cumberland Township Line, north of Innes and south of Highway 174. Students who choose Early French Immersion attend either Forest Valley E. S. or Henry Larsen E. S. The community provides recreational facilities through Gloucester Parks and Recreation. The Convent Glen School Council is a volunteer group that fulfills many important roles including political advocacy, advising on school policies/procedures, holding special events and fundraising. Convent Glen is a small dual track school of approximately 136 students. It offers both the Regular English Program from JK to Grade 5 as well as the Middle French Immersion (MFI) Program starting at the Grade 4 level. At Convent Glen, staff take pride in the provision of a stimulating, caring and happy environment where the children have the opportunity to develop to their full potential. Although our primary focus is the curriculum and providing strong academic programs, we also recognize the importance of the physical, social and emotional domains and thus provide opportunities for our children to grow in these areas. Parental involvement in the school is encouraged in the classroom, in special activities and on our School Council. Principal - Steven Greenwood Hours of Operation - 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
